Installation in honour of the exhibition: COQUILLES COQUINES

In the central hall of the museum we placed an inflatable shell which the public can enter through a small "airlock".
Inside there is a beautiful space with round walls going up in a spiral, with amazing acoustic qualities.
You can enjoy listening to a 4 hour soundscape in the shell, mixed by Artificial Happiness.
Also part of the installation is a photo print, made with photographer Marnix Goossens.

The project is supported by the Dutch Embassy in Luxembourg.

19.06.2008 18.00-23.00 Schildersfestival Noordwijk

live poseer concert van Artificial Happiness

Dit optreden van Artificial Happiness op het Schilderfestival Noordwijk, is te zien in de festivaltent op de Koningin Wilhelmina Boulevard op donderdagavond 19 juni van 6 tot 11 uur en de toegang is gratis. Het zal een mix zijn van soundscapes, bewegende decors, dansmuziek, kunst performance, modeshow en comedy, begeleid door live instrumenten. Hun outfits hebben referenties naar Star Wars en Ijslandse Folklore. Hun muzikale stijl is nieuw, het is een mix van serious marshmellow en arthouse.

Er komen zes personen: Barbara de Haan speelt altsax, Terence Samson speelt percussion en soundeffects, Avi Adir speelt flute, Helene Bolle de vocals, Lennart Vader is de dj en Pinky Keijser speelt ratel en hoorn.

Het concert is een muzikale en theatrale poseer-sessie. Het zal een inspiratie zijn voor de schilders dus wellicht dat daar tijdens de avond mooie schilderijen uit voortkomen.

22.05.2008 12.00 opening fototentoonstelling Varkens: je ziet ze niet, maar ze zijn er wel

Donderdag 22 mei aanstaande om 12.00 uur wordt op het plein voor de Opera in Amsterdam de fototentoonstelling met manshoge, confronterende fotos van varkens geopend. Tienduizenden passanten kunnen vanaf dat moment op de displays zien wat voor vriendelijke en intelligente dieren varkens zijn en hoe we ze misbruiken om zo goedkoop mogelijk vlees te kunnen produceren.

Nepco zal deze tentoonkwelling met een performance onthullen.

Holland House event in celebration of the Dutch Queen mother's birthday (Queen's Day) with support of the Dutch Embassy. Among the activities are all day performances for children by Helene Bolle, Daphne Zandberg, Lennart & Pinky.

Venue: Bernie Spain Gardens, adjacent to Oxo Tower Wharf, South Bank near Waterloo Bridge,
Free admission.

06.04.2008 KRO Kindertijd: zondag 6 april, in het ochtendblok van 07.45-08.15 uur.

Fish I

Zondag wordt een speciale aflevering van KRO Kindertijd uitgezonden met alleen films van het project Grote Kunst voor Kleine Mensen. Een selectie van deel 1 en 2: Ik de jouwe jij de mijne, Fish I, Honden en voeten, Poppenhuis, De wereld volgens een konijnenhok, Achter de kast, en als uitsmijter Sally.

Traffic Light Man video installation

The video TLM is made in honour of the autumn/winter 2008 collection from designer Rui Leonardes. TLM will be shown as part of the SuperSuper magazine event on the 11th of Feb. The event launches at 8 pm and will be compered by the inimitable Jodie Harsh, and will also feature live performances by The-O, Niyi and Namalee N The Namazonz amongst others.

The TLM film will also be shown between all catwalk shows of Vauxhall Fashion Scout till the 14th.

On the 14th from 8.30 pm we are showing the videos Instant Alzheimer and Nutcracker at Aganovich aftershow event, for press and LFW designers, sponsored by Vogue Uk, Myspace and IQONS.
